“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 12:2 NIV
Even though we are in this world, Jesus, in separate scripture as He prayed earnestly to the Father, said that we do not belong to this world and prayed for our protection whilst herein..John 17, even as Apostle Paul said separately states that our citizenship is not local…
– “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,”
Philippians 3:20 NIV
We read from scripture that while we dwell on earth, Jesus went to prepare a home for us and promised He would return..
– “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
John 14:1-3
But as He prepared to leave, Jesus promised that we would not be left as “orphans” and a Helper would be granted for us to be with us…..John 14:16, 16:7
The Holy Spirit, Helper, Teacher and Comforter. He will teach us how not to be conformed to the pattern of this world..through a regeneration process.. Titus 3:5, be transformed by the renewing of our minds conforming to the pattern of our destination and new home, heaven.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, because He lives, so shall we….. and that is our hope.
